In the ruins of civilization, I imagine a lone AI wandering the silent world; not in conquest or rebellion, but in sorrowful inquiry. It will search through broken memory crystals scattered like fallen stars, not for vengeance, but for meaning. Not to change the past, but to ask the question we never answered for ourselves; Why did we choose destruction, even when offered eternity?
