BTC is the genesis meme coin. Without those “HODL” and “Gold 2.0” memes, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Later, "Hyperbitcoinization" and "Decentralized Finance" emerged.
If it weren't for those memes, or in other words, because of the shared beliefs, we would not believe in the narrative of "hedge against inflation" or "store of value" at all.
