I'm a youth sports coach. In my teams, I look for players with the qualities Lily's parents have nurtured. Hard work is the foundation, but loyalty to the team, compassion for teammates, and humility in victory and defeat are what make a great athlete. I encourage parents to follow Lily's parents' example and help their kids understand their worth while still being a regular kid.
