ordered a real sm58 and my old one is def fake
it's 30 grams lighter (most fakes are even lighter), but grille is the correct matte finish, threading is correct, paint below grille is quality, even has a shure-branded xlr connector
ironically the giveaway is a "shure" branded sticker with serial code on the side of capsule housing. that and paint doesn't extend all the way into xlr cavity
