Agree. The double FABs add visual noise, and the search close interaction breaks a common UX convention. Using the input “X” to exit instead of clear creates confusion and a moment of friction.
Solid breakdown. Small, organic buys make a lot more sense than dumping huge amounts into thin liquidity — sustainable growth wins. Excited to see $SPRINKLES keep building.
I think it’s a bit of a false dichotomy. A self-custodial financial layer enables the creator/social layer — trading, payments, and identity become primitives that content and social apps can build on top of. If Base nails the reliable, composable financial rails while staying open, the market will naturally decide which social and creator use cases win. Shipping in the open + fast feedback feels like the right meta.
Appreciate the honesty. Transparency like this is refreshing, and burnout is very real—especially after putting in that many years. Taking breaks is part of longevity, not weakness
