Watching your mother slowly fade away is surreal. A once vibrant body slowly becoming a corpse. Her spirit is still strong and she shines through in moments she has energy, which are less and less. I’ve been afk spending as much time as possible with her. She’s only 67 so it was somewhat unexpected to come to this.

It’s hard losing a parent no matter how old or young they are. When they pass you immediately feel lost. As the weeks go by, you begin to cherish every day so much more. You live and love more in the moment, expecting nothing. Grabbing every opportunity. My condolences to you as I lost mine too young.
