I see alot of people posting about @zama They talk about FHE, Encryption, Privacy, etc, but no one really break these technical words down. Well, That is what this thread is all about, I will be fully breaking down the concept of ZAMA’s Tech which is FHE. Walk with me: FHE is an acronym for ‘Fully Homomorphic Encryption’ But, lets start from the basis, which is ‘Encryption’ What is Encryption? In simple terms, Encryption is like locking your message in a special box that only the right person has the key to open. Lets push it further with some practical examples: _Now, With Encryption when you send something (like a message, file, or password), it gets scrambled into a secret code using a mathematical formula. _Anyone who tries to read it without the key will just see gibberish. _When it reaches the person with the correct key, they can unlock (or “decrypt”) it to see the real message. How @zama fixes this: Zama uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to enable sealed-bid auctions on-chain. •You submit your bid encrypted. •The auction smart contract compares all bids (still encrypted using FHE) •When it’s over, it decrypts only the result: who won and for how much. •No one can see your bid while it’s live, Not bots, Not other bidders, Not even the auctioneer. _______ Why it matters: This works not just for NFT drops, but also for: ✅Token launches. ✅RWA auctions (real estate, artworks) etc ✅Any auction where public bids ruin the fairness. Right now, Token sales get front-run to death, Bots scan for big buys and steal your allocation. With sealed bids, everyone submits encrypted amounts. Allocations happen fairly — based on real demand, not mempool sniping. Everything’s still on-chain and verifiable, just private until it’s over. With @zama, You just have to love privacy.
