Arcium’s Tech: 3 real-world physical events where it could have made a big difference. Lets dive straight in: 1 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami (2011, Japan) On the 11th day of March 2011, A magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck off Japan’s north-east coast and triggered a massive tsunami. The disaster not only caused vast human and infrastructure damage, but critically impacted the global supply chain: eg The semiconductor/microcontroller producer Renesas Electronics, based in Naka, had to suspend operations. It was said that Japan produced approximately 22% of the world’s automotive microcontrollers prior to the 2011 disaster, with Renesas controlling nearly 40% of the global automotive microcontroller market at the time How @arcium’s tech could have helped: Now, Because many automotive and electronics firms rely on shared components from Japan, but each firm treats their data (supply, inventory, production status) as proprietary, there’s limited transparency across the chain Contd…

How @zama fixes this: Zama uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to enable sealed-bid auctions on-chain. •You submit your bid encrypted. •The auction smart contract compares all bids (still encrypted using FHE) •When it’s over, it decrypts only the result: who won and for how much. •No one can see your bid while it’s live, Not bots, Not other bidders, Not even the auctioneer. _______ Why it matters: This works not just for NFT drops, but also for: ✅Token launches. ✅RWA auctions (real estate, artworks) etc ✅Any auction where public bids ruin the fairness. Right now, Token sales get front-run to death, Bots scan for big buys and steal your allocation. With sealed bids, everyone submits encrypted amounts. Allocations happen fairly — based on real demand, not mempool sniping. Everything’s still on-chain and verifiable, just private until it’s over. With @zama, You just have to love privacy.
