Stayed up late taking some pictures of the lunar eclipse
Last night was the first clear night since getting some new astrophotography equipment, so I decided to do a quick run with the Horsehead and Flame nebulae. This is about 4.5 hours of integration, and even though there are some issues to work out, I think it turned out amazing for a first try!
The Heart Nebula Spent about 5-6 hours integrating this image with a combination of H-alpha, SII, and OIII filters on a Redcat 91
A couple nights ago I spent about an hour shooting wide-field images of the M7 region of Scorpius/Sagittarius. Trying out some new techniques with generalized hyperbolic stretching and AI-based denoising, and the results are pretty good (even with some injected artifacts)!
