Over the last few days a bunch of you have gone through the courses, shared bugs, and gave me valuable feedback. Thank you, it became super clear what Uni needs to feel great inside a miniapp: simplicity + momentum. So I’m making a small pivot. Instead of multi-module courses, Uni is moving to a daily question format. One question a day about a Farcaster/Base project. One attempt, XP, streaks, and an evolving Uni Gown NFT that grows with your progress. This will keep the app lightweight while still teaching you something new every day. More updates coming soon.

What led me to build Uni 🎓 At Farcaster dev day, the #1 takeaway for me was that DeFi was hard to understand without actually engaging with it. This prompted me to explore what actually drives learning, so I’m testing a combined approach: quizzes, simulators (which I’m most excited about), and onchain actions, packed into project specific courses. As I explored new projects, I often found it hard to quickly grasp what they did and why it mattered. I believe with better guided experiences, teams can help users understand faster and turn that understanding into action. Over the next few days I'll be sharing some teasers of what @uni-learn will look like. Excited is an understatement 😀

When I first entered DeFi, everything felt like trial-and-error. If you weren’t already fluent in markets and crypto mechanics, it was difficult to keep up. Even today, the complexity keeps rising as strategies get deeper. Farcaster solved one of the hard parts. It brought people from every corner of the internet into the same room. Tomorrow, I’m sharing something I’ve been building: a way for anyone to tap into DeFi at its full potential. To learn by doing in a way that’s intuitive and interactive. 🎓
