Why can't Apple leave China?
Workers' wages in China are around $3.63 USD/hour, while in India it's only half that. India is even more populous, with a large young workforce and widespread English language use.
However, only about 7% of iPhones are manufactured in India, while China still holds nearly 90%.
So what makes China irreplaceable for India, Vietnam, or anywhere else?
