Mints are fundamentally broken. We've normalized gas wars as the cost of entry, but it’s a system that’s rigged against the average user from the start. We keep trying to solve this with better on-chain logic, but that's the wrong battle. The real answer is to change the game itself. I wrote up a new concept for a "Post-Mint Finalization" model that uses verifiable compute to make gas wars pointless.
