One of my favorite board games is "The Castles of Burgundy." It's a signature piece by German designer Stefan Feld, who's known for making games that delightfully challenge players with debt and other hardships. This game uses two dice, and you take actions based on the dice rolls. What I love most is that the game isn't just about luck; it's about making the best of whatever you roll. The photo shows the deluxe version from Kickstarter, and once you play with this version, it's hard to go back to the original. Though, I do have a soft spot for the simple artwork of the first edition
