Love seeing Dario and Elon who put their money on the slow horses call for a pause on AI development Wondering why Sam is playing into it though. Keep stuff like Bel in-house maybe? Tibo did say the biggest advantage of Astra was having it exclusive to them for development. Or are they actually hitting a roadblock, and getting concerned at how the IPO will go if we have another quiet period like between 4o and 5.2~. Even then, how long would a slowdown even last? Until Kimi or GLM are in striking distance of Sol or Astra? Only interesting thing that’ll come from this is if Chinese models suddenly top out and prove they’re just very good distillation machines.
