Sometimes a monotype will take on a life of it's own. I was aiming for strong sky colours in this simple design but I was still surprised by the powerful effect. A crisp black rocky foreground was all that was needed to complete the composition.

I don’t know why, but the light in my apartment hit different today. Soft, golden, almost forgiving. I stood there doing nothing for five minutes. Maybe that’s the most peaceful I’ve felt all week.
