so i've been trying to answer the question of whether ai will be an originator of our taste or a reflection of it in my previous essay. and this is the conclusion i reached is: it depends entirely on us. on how much we bring, on how much we are willing to notice, and on whether we choose to give more context, a more specific prompt, or just type something generic and let the tool decide. and this made me think that context engineering is actually way more important than prompt engineering when it comes to the way we are using ai. the context we give to the ai matters much more than the prompt itself. if we have a decent prompt but a really wel documented context, the result will be better than if we have the best prompt structure but weak context. one could argue that a great prompt is actually great context, but here another discussion opens up, where the context is actually documents and files that we create about ourselves, things we feed into the entire machine, not just into a specific chat. we can reference them all the time. because yes, we can give context in a specific chat when we want to know something or create something, but that context will never be as strong as when it's fed into the machine itself.🌹
