I've been thinking about AGI, and I might be completely wrong about this I believe AGI will happen when we're actually able to give symbolic intelligence automatically to AI Right now, form my understanding machines use categorization. They recognize patterns like if they see a specific kind of ears, they have a thinking pattern that tells them those ears belong to a cat or a puma. They match what they see to what they've been trained on But that's not the same as actual thinking Again, based on my research data scientists are the ones introducing symbolic intelligence into machines. But once we manage to optimize this process, when we can automate giving machines that deeper, intuitive intelligence I believe we'll get really close to AGI I may be wrong in the way I see things, and I'm honestly curious to hear other thoughts from people who have more experience and knowledge in this field But I do believe that symbolic intelligence is what will make machines feel more human What do you think?🌹
