something i have been thinking about is how we treat repetition as boring and incompleteness as failure when in reality those might be two of the most honest things a person can carry. we want everything finished and we want it fast and we want to move on to the next thing the moment we get it. but the things that actually stay with us are almost never the ones that arrived complete. they are the ones that kept asking us to come back. the artists who are doing meaningful work right now are the ones who keep returning to the same questions and letting the work grow at its own pace. and i think there is something we can all learn from that even if we never pick up a brush or write a single word.🌹 https://thehiddeni.substack.com/p/what-remains-after-the-leaves-fall
