I generally feel like if we started looking less at elders for advice regarding the future and our lives and more at children we would advance both individually and collectively much better
This is something I was reminded of now that I have a baby brother. Right now he's just one year old, and he taught me again about why curiosity is important
He's always exploring, always wanting to see what things are, how they feel, and how they taste. Also, whenever he hurts himself, he's almost always smiling. He rarely cries (only when he's hungry, when he's tired, or when he actually has tooth problems or something that really hurts). Apart from that, he's joyful
There seems to be a lot to learn from this behavior. As he grows up, looking at what he's interested in and what he wants to do, I feel like I can learn about where the future is going because the future will be made by these kids. The future is these kids🌹
