the fact that i got to play outside, ride a bike, spend my summers at my grandma's place, play with chickens and football all day long is worth more to me than anything I see today with 14, 15 year olds building businesses and creating content to raise money.
in a way i genuinely love what they are doing and part of me wishes i had started earlier. but i hope they don't forget that they're still children. because if i look back, no amount of money could have bought what i had🌹
