On April 24, 2025, the Initia (INIT) token officially launched on major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, KuCoin, MEXC, BYDFi, Gate.io, Bitget, Crypto.com, and Kraken. Trading on Binance started at 14:00 Kyiv time with INIT/USDT, INIT/USDC, INIT/BNB, INIT/FDUSD, and INIT/TRY pairs.
Initia is a modular, layer-1 blockchain platform focused on supporting appchain applications and cross-chain interoperability. The project has raised $25 million in investment from Theory VC, Hack VC, and Delphi Ventures, and its valuation has reached $250 million.
Before the listing on Binance, a six-day Launchpool took place, during which users could farm INIT tokens by staking BNB, USDC, or FDUSD. A total of 30 million tokens were distributed (3% of the total supply).
To celebrate the launch of the exchange, campaigns with prize funds are being held: BYDFi is raffling off $10,000 among INIT/USDT traders, and MEXC is offering 115,000 INIT and 50,000 USDT.
