Is the Bitcoin Lightning Network Wallet Still Safe? Alby Arbitrarily Changes User Agreement and Transfers User BTC Balances
Today, a community user reported that their Bitcoin in the Alby wallet was inexplicably deducted, suspecting either theft or a hacker attack.
The community later discovered that the BTC was deducted by Alby itself.

In the Terms of Service updated in March 2025, it is stated:
"We have notified users for over a year. Accounts with no transaction activity for more than a year are subject to balance deductions."
