It's half running your own subreddit, and half being able to curate your own Twitter tag. If you don't want to moderate you can just let the PB users do what they want in your channel.

I'm much less pissy currently, I understand the design choices with the power badge, it's kind of elitist still because not everyone can afford to pay 25 bucks a year on top of 5-20 dollars a month in self hosting for images but it makes sense if you're a libertarian software engineer.

Also not everyone has time to herd cats.

This is either going to be an exercise in vanity publishing or it's going to get unruly really quickly. I'm still just trying to get the channel to notify me when someone posts. It's not exactly foolproof.
