This diagram from Zargham and Shermin has been living in my head rent-free β human steering, algorithmic policy, and infrastructure all feeding back into each other. But I keep wondering: What happens between policy and action? How do systems handle exceptions without breaking trust? Curious if anyone here has tried to build in this gap.
