I became interested in green energy after moving into an old home with expensive electricity costs a few years ago. I turned my roof into a miniature power plant by installing solar panels. This gave me the idea to add a wind turbine. The combination of wind and solar energy was powerful and efficient, despite its occasional hiccups.
