Instead of running a full node or downloading large blockchain data, the wallet can connect to remote public nodes, making it easier for new users to access the ecosystem. Cellframe is designed as a Layer-0 blockchain infrastructure, focusing on building the foundation for scalable decentralized networks. The project also integrates post-quantum cryptography, aiming to protect digital assets against future risks from quantum computing. Another important part of the architecture is sharding, which helps improve network scalability by allowing different parts of the blockchain to process transactions simultaneously.
