as a quick follow up, I don’t think the answer here is to stop experimenting. experiment with new tech and challenging norms is how you push new things forward, but I think there can be a balance at the same time to ensure some baseline norms etc can be followed

I also wonder how they’ll handle the “sent from X client” tag since that relies on app FID data, and in this case existing signers were registered from the @warpcast account setting SEO aside(which is still a very impt thing to tackle), I’m mostly concerned about future interop and backwards compatibility so casts, signers, and other things already built on top of can still work as new changes are introduced

I just got off a flight and need to look more into the sniping/pump and dump allegations on my timeline, but with no context I’ll say this: these are the exact moments and reasons why folks get turned off of coins it is our responsibility as a community trying to push new tech forward to be careful/transparent with this stuff as well(although I know that’s easier said than done bc crypto is a casino)

unfortunately I’ve been geoblocked from the app even though I scanned my eyes a few years ago so I can’t test them out, but have gone through the flow of making one and asking devs in that ecosystem what works well/doesnt tbh I haven’t heard as much about like viral consumer social experiences on their platform, but will look into it more and regardless still think there are some things to learn from parts of their miniapps platform

yeah for sure, agreed that could be used for like a quick demo or something but if this were to be added to the protocol that might not be the smoothest UX(espc across clients)

oh interesting!! it looks like this involves a base url and then a path/query params, I feel like we could totally support this and I think that’s what the Farcaster client(fka Warpcast) handles their client-specific deeplinks will look into this a bit more later and maybe draft a miniapps FIP or something, thanks for sharing!

extremely rough and generalized thoughts on tokens after seeing a tweet about a project launching a version of their token on a new chain: - I think tokens(at least a few for now but eventually all) should live cross-chain as users should be able to seamlessly transact regardless of the chain - tokens not only help content find their natural pricing but also let people feel more like owners/stakeholders in a community - even with those two points being made, sometimes I look at a token and it feels either premature or I’m just not sure how that token benefits the project’s community. maybe there’s
