I wish Cursor had better support for talking with other repos as docs, been enjoying using deepwiki.com to ask questions about certain public repos but would be even more helpful if I could easily reference the repo in my Cursor chat! tried indexing repos with their docs feature, but didn’t seem to work with the context as well as it does when you’re just viewing any local repo of yours

the former is great for learning things and iterating quickly/getting experience, but agreed building something more long term and retention focused is the way to go -- just takes discipline and conviction!!

Midjourney + Suno could probably get you close to some emphemeral pixel side scroller mini app games.

Getting a lot of requests for more invite codes, promise it’s not about being exclusive or mysterious. We're rolling out the new beta slowly because every week, new stuff is launching, and we want each new batch of users to come in as there’s new things to try. That helps us test, learn, and make the app better. If you’re building a mini app, DM me. i’ll add you to a group so you can make sure your app works, so you can tap into distribution when we launch. More invites coming next week with some new features!! Appreciate the patience.

PSA to devs: frames v1 will be deprecated on July 31st. I manually pinged all devs with some amount of frames v1 usage (20+ unique clicks within past 30 days) to give a heads up. Most have already migrated to mini apps or are in the process of it but if you have any questions or need help migrating please let us know!

We're going to say goodbye to Frames v1 on July 31st. When we announced miniapps (v2 frames) back in November, we promised to support the old standard for 6 months, to make the transition as smooth as possible. Now that time has come. Most people are building and using miniapps which we are excited about, and the old frames are slowly disappearing from the timeline. What happens next? On July 31st, we'll slowly stop rendering frames and cast actions in feed. Both these features are seeing little to no usage. In the coming weeks, we may also make changes to make cast actions less prominent in the UI to make space for some new features we're working on. Why is removing frames important? It's a lot of work to support older standards and slows down the team from shipping things that people want. No new teams are building frames anymore, and existing teams have largely moved over to miniapps.

embed images are the most underutilized component of mini apps they are the life blood of a good mini app since they provide an organic means for your app to get in front of eye balls and create natural points for community members to hang out here's a breakdown of the mini word "brag" share card which is a good one
