Coming soon: video UX upgrade and a new way to earn In addition to supporting the Base launch, the team has recently been focused on 3 priorities 1. Bux fixes / performance — still not out of the woods, but the app should be feeling much better, especially for Android users, compared to 2 weeks ago. 2. Improved Video UX — should be rolling out soon. Will be a separate, new feed that you can access while watching a full screen video. The text-based home feed is not going anywhere. 3. A new way to earn — we've been working on a new onchain way for people to earn while casting. Note: this will be different than the experiment that the Base app is running! Feature, not a bug. Having multiple clients means the protocol can run multiple experiments and results in more opportunities to discover new features that work well and help grow the network.

The app definitely works better ! For the video UX it could be cool to privilege landscape format and differentiate from all the Tik tok copycats...

Vertical video in a feed-based mobile app is a better UX.

It's less good for quality video content I think, only for shorts. Being able to swiftly turn the phone and make the experience pleasant can even add fun to the UX. Of course It is much better on web too... Yet I definitely understand why you guys may prioritize portrait. Maybe a mix of the two in a future version ?
