Pure memes burn fast because there’s nothing to anchor them once attention shifts. Skitten adds anchors community processes, treasury purpose, recurring off-chain activity not to guarantee growth, but to slow collapse.
Analytically, this changes the lifecycle:
shorter spikes, longer plateaus.
That tradeoff won’t appeal to everyone. But in markets where most tokens vanish after one cycle, durability itself becomes a differentiator.
So the real question isn’t upside.
It’s whether Skitten can remain relevant longer than the average meme.
