Federal Reserve Position: Don't Count on a Rapid Rate Cut
The Fed's spokesperson says that due to uncertainty in inflation data and tariff pressures, a rapid rate cut is not reasonable at least until spring. They warned that actual inflation may be close to 3 percent and rising costs could force companies to raise prices.
