I’m watching this RSI bearish divergence on BTC for a long time now. RSI divergences are strong indicators, and although it can take a long time for the pattern to play out, I am expecting the price trend to realign with the oscillator before BTC can resume its uptrend. Meanwhile I’m holding exclusively BTC and stables, no alts. I might expose my portfolio to alts once the divergence is gone.

During my first cycle I did what most people do: bought and held a bunch of shitcoins. Roughly a year later I started to notice $BTC and top alts performed better than my small caps, so reworked my portfolio to the 50% BTC 25% alts 25% stables strategy. It sure performed better. I also managed to score a couple of nice airdrops and I sold them all for stables as soon as I could – I thank myself for doing so. Now that the market is downtrending I decided to hold $BTC and stables only. I decided it’s the only real long-term investment that makes sense for me. So maybe I’ll rebalance into alts when I spot an opportunity but for the time being I’ll stick to the one and only and I’ll keep DCAing. This is my trajectory in this market thus far.
