The key to making healthy habits stick Setting healthy habits is so good for our mental health Because once those habits are established, we don't need to think about it But we get the benefits of it every day But have you noticed how it's so much harder to establish healthy habits... Than it is to get hooked on bad ones? That is because bad health behaviours Tend to be the ones that give us that immediate, feel-good dopamine hit That makes it really easy to get hooked. But the good news is that you Can make new healthy habits and make them stick. But the key ingredient is Repetition. It takes a lot of conscious effort and you're not always going to feel Like it. But if you can repeat that behaviour enough times on a regular basis Then your brain will respond and it will make the neural connections That are needed for that behaviour to become more automatic and habitual So that you just do it without really thinking about it anymore #healthyhabits
