If I was king of Farcaster I certainly wouldn't abandon the wallet or trading, but I would focus on the long since abandoned Channels and using whatever VC funds I had for marketing to go after people outside of our space. I would pay Reddit mods to build channels here, I would pay non-crypto influencers to come here and I would reward thriving channels. When people logged on to Farcaster for the first time, instead of people to follow, they would be given a list of Channels/ subjects to follow and their feed would fill with their actual interests. If we had a functional Channel thread people who didn't want all the shitcoin talk wouldn't have to see it at all. Chronological follower feed is also important in my Farcaster dictatorship, I would also give people the option to cast in ONLY that thread so that they could talk about whatever niche thing they wanted without it showing up in the main feed or on their profile. I can't tell you how many times I haven't posted on Reddit because I didn't want people to be able to lurk my activity. I would make micro tipping a standard feature of the app and give people a platform native coin to tip in, as well as the option to tip in a limited amount of tokens, not any random shitcoin. The native coin could be used to purchase digital items, post boosting, lottery tickets in monthly rewards, etc. To me the biggest value props of this app are Channels and making money off your content. There are plenty of different ways to reward creators but because channels aren't decentralized just building a new client isn't really a viable option. The combination of Twitter and Reddit is such a good idea. And not for nothing would also make threads and RTs actually useful. The end.
