Aleš Michl, Governor of the Czech National Bank, announced that they are contemplating purchasing a small amount of Bitcoin as part of a diversification strategy for their foreign exchange reserves. The decision requires approval from the seven members of the CNB Board of Directors. Additionally, there are plans to increase the share of gold reserves to 5% of total assets by 2028.
