I think most dapps just don’t care and want to ship (that’s at least my position rn). If web3modal/rainbowkit/connectkit had a built-in UI for picking your RPC and relay, almost no dapps would opt-out.
Building mitigations like this that cost devs nothing to do the right thing is really important IMO.
