highly recommend picking up this book!
going to do a writeup on it at some point this week, but it details his work 'The Theory of Moral Sentiments' on subjects like morality (if an impartial spectator was viewing your actions, how would they assess them?) and our motivations (most often, we desire to be loved by others)
well worth reading
