Microplastic has even penetrated Antarctica. Scientists have found microplastic particles in Antarctica's snow, the Daily Mail reports, citing the British Antarctic Survey.
‘This could be caused by outerwear or flags used to mark safe routes in and around the camp,’ said oceanologist Clara Manno.
