The competitive landscape with Ethereum means that even as Cardano’s smart contracts mature, ADA’s value may be constrained by Ethereum’s entrenched dominance in DeFi, NFTs, and overall TVL. The sheer scale of Ethereum’s ecosystem makes it hard for Cardano to capture comparable liquidity and usage quickly, which could slow ADA’s relative growth.
