Chainlink is still the backbone of DeFi oracle infrastructure. However, innovation is happening faster among newer competitors. Pyth, RedStone, and API3 each challenge different assumptions in oracle design. While Chainlink benefits from trust and scale, competition ensures it must keep evolving to stay ahead.
