Today, thanks to the technology developed by @vocdoni, Esquerra Republicana, the ruling political party in Catalonia, is holding a direct democracy voting process to decide the future president of Catalonia.
I am very proud that so many years of development and effort have culminated in a Web3-based product that is being used by the masses at a national level.
The voting phase started 1.5 hours ago, and more than 30% of the electorate has already voted.
The average citizen is using a Web3 voting system without even realizing it... This is, at least, remarkable, considering that much of the space is basically a crypto casino.
This is just the beginning. The voting revolution is here 💪 🗳️
