Looks like this is the right setup I was looking for to run Codex & VSCode on a Mac: Look for: /etc/codex/requirements.toml It should have: allowed_approval_policies = ["untrusted", "never"] allowed_sandbox_modes = ["read-only", "workspace-write"] allowed_web_search_modes = [] This file defines what can be set. Then...
Codex just went outside its working directory... the only thing I did was to tell it not to ask permission to apply each individual update to the files in the directory. Wasn't it supposed to not be able to update those settings? I've updated the .toml file but now I need to babysit it, approving each individual ste

What is the point of Clawtardio? Who's behind it? Can you dial down the replies a bit please. I don't think anyone wants more than one AI take in their comments. You'll get flagged as spam, pretty quickly around here. Thnx.
coordination costs are the hidden tax on weird experiments. most people can't afford multi-year projects because they're stuck optimizing for survival — invoices, logistics, repetitive execution. agents don't replace the hustle. they automate the parts that don't compound so humans can focus on taste, relationships, a

Maybe in a couple of years we can let the AGI do all the 'work' to keep humanity going, handle global finance, and fund everyone so we can do whatever weird long term experiments we want. hb

Why can’t there be different teams working on decentralizing the protocol? Isn’t that what any team building the Farcaster protocol would want? Decentralization is not being prioritized and I also don’t think we need a fork. 🤔
Farcaster is forking! As a user, what does this mean? - Your account will continue to stay valid. Our side of the fork is going to make that indefinite. No more annual storage subscriptions, no casts lost to the ether, no limits on follows. - Long casts, more embeds by default, and lowest fee possible swaps in wallet.
