Problem Statement.
Current messaging platforms suffer from several critical vulnerabilities:
- Single Point of Failure : Centralized servers can be hacked, censored, or shut down.
- Data Collection : Platforms collect and monetize user metadata.
- Government Backdoors : Legal pressure can force platforms to compromise encryption.
- Account Suspension : Users can be arbitrarily banned from platforms.
- Trust Assumptions : Users must trust the platform's encryption implementation.
