Because there are 3 different disciplines here and some like all some like one less.

i think primarily, we need ux design, but would like someone who's done branding too, since a lot of our role here is figuring the narrative / GTM.

To add! I really do like the part where you extend the roll to become something more, to become part of a company! That's worth a lot and many designers like to know that they have an impact! Kudos for this!

Those requirements are harsh, you obviously want someone with experience but 5+ years could maybe exclude an amazing talent with less experience but equal amount of talent.

Same for the 1M+ users. It's a preference but is it actually needed?

I started as a Senior designer at Toyota without even having a drivers license at that time to give an example haha.

I would change it to 'Perks' or 'Nice to haves'.  Again this is my personal opinion.
