Right now the entire L2 ecosystem's capital is flowing back to Ethereum again
According to L2BEAT's interop map, net flow shows @ethereum +$661.73M, while almost all other chains are negative. Leading this exodus is @base at -$345.50M followed by @solana -$182.68M @megaeth -$77.41M @avax -$54.23M
In the last 24 hours, $2B moved across 181 routes, with 73.2% of it connected to Ethereum
Top route is Base → Ethereum. CCTP v2 ($626.58M) and USDC ($988.14M) account for most of this movement, meaning most transfers are happening through stablecoins
Only a handful of chains are showing green in these 24 hours, among them @HyperliquidX , @Optimism, @RobinhoodCrypto @monad . But these numbers are negligible compared to what's flowing out of Base and Solana
If your favorite L2 narrative is "sticky onchain liquidity," this week's flow data says otherwise
Where does this capital go after landing on mainnet, is anyone tracking that next step?
