i slightly prefer the acronym FLOSS over CROPS. for me the “why” is more important than the “how”. the “why”, for me, is **user freedom and liberation**. CROPS is a way to measure / get there. i like both acronyms and think they’re both useful but FLOSS culturally extends beyond our bubble and i feel like it’s a community we can relate with and rally with.
