When do you need L2s if priority #1 is scaling l1?

if you scale L1, L2s tend to thrive better

You would prefer to use L1 a lot more instead?
Most of activity on L2s happens due to high L1 fees, they don’t have special features that aren’t elsewhere

I'm L2s are faster. But if I wanted premium blockspace I would use L1. Depends what you want/need.
