Russia has begun to use special software to suppress the criminal use of cryptocurrencies, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said at the plenary session of the meeting of prosecutors of the BRICS countries.
“No less worrying is the increase in the number of crimes related to the criminal trafficking of cryptocurrencies and other virtual assets. To suppress them, special software has been developed in our country. It is used both for financial monitoring and for investigating criminal cases,” Krasnov said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
