A new light-based method may let quantum computers grow much larger.
Stanford scientists built tiny optical cavities that gather light from single atoms.
This enables reading many qubits simultaneously.
They've shown arrays with hundreds of these cavities already.
It could lead to huge quantum networks with millions of qubits.
