betting on crypto ultimately feels pessimistic given the use cases so far, crypto is useful in the world full of: 1) desperate gamblers 2) authoritative governments 3) controlling corporations 4) weak economies crypto thrives when there's more of it

i realise this is a total vibe killer, but: 1) i couldn't find any good arguments against it 2) i like staying bearish when the coin goes up 3) it doesn't make me stop working on crypto, just something that i've realised and wanted to share

4. Is the exact argument against everything you’re saying. I think the others are valid concerns too. But weak economies is what money always solves. And it’s the exact use case for a growing universe.

Ignoring #1 (which is valid but hopefully more temporary) couldn’t you instead look at it as crypto thrives in those bad situations because it’s solving those problems (ideally permanently)?
