From time to time I think about how Abraham Lincoln signed the legislation to start the Secret Service then went and got shot that same night.

I usually use a 1:1 sugar to water ratio. With hibiscus, I like a slightly smaller amount of sugar. I also add a squeeze of lemon. For most syrups I'll use brown sugar or honey. Hibiscus almost requires white sugar (I add a touch of honey). Dissolve sugar into water. Remove from heat. Add hibiscus and lemon. Wait at least 15 min (the longer the better, but it can get bitter). I do 30. Strain and enjoy.

OOOOOOH. Great call. I have some olive-oil washed gin that'd work well with this.

Visited Close Company last night (new cocktail bar concept from Death & Co). They had an old-fashioned with shochu in it. It was good. But it wasn't an old-fashioned. That's just a different cocktail altogether.

Yes. All future Native tokens will be v4. For starters, there will be an automatic 10% vault for every token launched via Native holders.

Earlier today, a couple of Clanker v3.1 coins were launched via Native that initially seemed to be an act of spoofing. This was reported by the community – @dish, @carter, and I immediately investigated. The culprit was a formatting bug, due to wallet addresses being converted to decimals for Native users without a Farcaster account. This address was eventually became formatted as a FID, which resulted in the curious coins being launched. The issue was immediately patched; monitoring continues. Funds are safe, and no intentional spoofing was found to have taken place via Native or Clanker.

Thanks; this helped identify the bug. It was not spoofing, but rather the FID "0" being sent (because the user didn't have a Farcaster account), which is the FID for the actual Farcaster account.

Yep! We've tracked it down and a fix is on the way. No intentional spoofing was found. This was a code bug. Thanks for letting us know!

I'll keep an eye out but for now I see no issue. It doesn't seem to be someone else's wallet, and it's a valid launch.
