I find it curious that the vast majority of fiction centered around extraterrestrials is about an "alien invasion" to usurp resources. Human behavior tells us that, taking resources is one reason to visit other cultures, but we also visit other cultures in order to spread religious messages. If aliens exist, a lot of folks in the Church would wrestle with this fact. But if aliens land to talk to us about God, that'd be equally as fascinating. Where's that movie? ET lands and comes out of the ship with a Bible.
